After announcing Messenger Rooms last month, Facebook is now rolling out the feature to all users globally.
Last month, Facebook announced the introduction of its Zoom competitor – Messenger Rooms – a feature that allows users to create a room hosting video calls with up to 50 people at a time. The feature is free and available to anyone – including people who don’t have a Facebook account – and doesn’t have a time limit.
Messenger Rooms can be created from within Messenger or Facebook. When a room is created, a link to it can be shared with anyone, inviting them to join. To create a room, you will need to download the latest version of the Facebook and Messenger mobile app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store and the Messenger Desktop app from the Microsoft Store or Mac App Store.
